3 General scrutiny: Evidence session with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

3.1 The Committee received evidence from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

3.2 Aneurin Bevan University Health Board agreed to provide details of the percentage that the financial premium for running managed practices would be if locum costs were excluded (i.e. if doctors were employed in substantive posts).

3.3 The Committee agreed to write with the questions not reached.

4 Health and Social Care (Quality and Engagement) (Wales) Bill: Evidence session with the Minister for Health and Social Services

4.1 The Committee received evidence from the Minister for Health and Social Services.

4.2 The Minister agreed to provide the Committee with details of  further policy developments in areas contained in the White Paper that were not included in the Bill.

4.3 The Minister agreed to write to the Committee setting out the areas in the Bill where he expects to provide guidance, and a description of what he expects that guidance to cover.
